Maple Season is here bringing delicious and fun activities for families!

National Pride - and tasty family fun!
Maple-Time. We all love it, we wait for it all year long. It is nature's way of rewarding us for getting through yet another snowy cold winter! We deserve it.

It starts when the oudoor temperature gets above zero and the sap starts to run up the maple tree. The tree is tapped by maple product producers and collected in buckets, or in tube systems. The sap is then boiled to varying degrees of sweet and thick deliciousness.

Not only is it the time of year to replenish your stock of real maple syrup for the year ahead (no mass produced factory syrup even compares), but the whole process is celebrated with visits to maple sugar shacks and demonstrations, pancakes breakfasts, maple taffy on ice or snow, horse drawn wagon rides and all an around celebration of our national pride for maple!
