Head North of Toronto for a ton of Scares, Screams and Halloween fun!

We love Halloween! Halloween is a holiday loved (and feared) by kids and adults alike. Playing dress up and trying to out-fright one another brings out the kid in anyone.


For the babes are tots, it is easy to find Halloween events that are age appropriate but what about teens? What about blended families? The list below contains a variety of events some for all ages, some not. Please use your own parental discretion as to what level of fright your child can handle.

Some Halloween events are a full week before October 31, so be sure to read the list carefully. With the right planning you could get alot of entertainment out of this one holiday!

Walk the candlelit trails through a 19th century naval historic site to see what is lurking in the dark and buildings. A spooky evening for the entire family! A special "haunted house" for those 10 and up looking for a frightfully good time.


The Youth Advisory Council Halloween Coffeehouse @ MacLaren Art Centre (Barrie)

This is the fifth annual Halloween Coffeehouse organized by the MacLaren's Youth Advisory Council. Attend in your Halloween-costumed best and enjoy music and spoken word performances by local Simcoe County youth-all with a great cup of coffee! Activities include our very popular button-maker, Halloween-inspired crafts and much more. This is an all-ages event, parents are welcome. Prizes will be awarded for the best ghoul and gal!

The Wye Marsh is hosting a variety of spooktacular events. All Guys and Ghouls welcome and activities include: Haunted House, scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, pumpkin bowling and more. If you are up for the challenge, stick around Saturday evening for the Marsh Monster Mystery, who will help us solve it this year.
