Weekend Family Fun Guide North of Toronto for January 31 - February 2

Here comes February! This weekend we roll into the shortest month of year bringing us a tad closer to spring, but it's too early to talk about that yet. It's still the heart of winter in areas north of Toronto. It's a record year for snow fall in many areas and communities are making the best of it and are really celebrating snow with fun and exciting winter activities. Many kids in Ontario have a long weekend ahead and that means even more free time to get fresh air and get moving!

Canada's Pond Hockey Tournament finishes up this weekend, it's a sight to be seen - 32 outdoor rinks on the surface of Head Lake in the Haliburton Highlands. Once the games are done on the pond Saturday evening head to the annual Pond Party at Pinestone Resort in Haliburton - it is the most winter fun you can have in 3 days!​​​​ Clarion Resort Pinewood Park in North Bay also offers a cool OHL Family Getaway Package that includes tickets to a local game to see a North Bay Battalion and the NHL'ers of tomorrow.

SNOW VALLEY RESORT
