Weekend Family Fun Guide North of Toronto for Easter weekend April 18-21

Easter fun is in the air and everywhere this weekend north of Toronto. It's a four day weekend for most families and parents looking for things to do with the kids are at the right spot.

Parents can find weekend getaways that includes all the events and activities like egg hunts, brunches, scavenger hunts and other unique fun the kids will love.

If you're into sticking around home this weekend, many of these events and activities are perfect for short day trips. Setting off on an adventure to a neighbouring community is always an interesting new pick-me-up activity for kids.

There's lots of great indoor and outdoor activities for kids of all types.

Drop in to see what's going on or visit our website for the latest programs. Cafe Roxy is open for hot chocolate, coffee and refreshments, light meals and snacks, wine and beer. Open Mic at the Cafe on Saturday at 2pm.

WYE MARSH
Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. Situated on approximately 3,000 acres of natural property in the beautiful Wye Valley (Georgian Bay), it is that perfect place for a family or group outing. With over 25 km of snowshoeing/skiing trails, an observation tower and boardwalks, visitors can get closer to nature.

* Easter Spring Fling * There will be an easter egg hunt and kids crafts at the naturalist's table all day (drop in) 10am to 4pm.  Cost is general admission and free for Members. 

Come on out to the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum and Archives for our annual Easter Eggstravaganza! There will be an Easter egg hunt, visits with the Easter Bunny, crafts, games and more! Only $3 per child.
