Mabel the Ontario Maple Fall Colours for Kids UPDATE

Today is October 12. After many wet, cold and dark days,  the sun is shining, the sky is blue and waters of Midland Bay are calm and sparkling like a jewel!

So far we've been chronicling the colour changes of Mabel the Ontario Maple (see earlier blog posts for pics). To date she's been slow and hanging on to her dark green colour of her sunnier summer days.

Finally, a sunny day and less green on Ms. Mabel! She's starting to go a greeny yellow while those around her are bright orange. That's Mabel, just trying to be different!
