Weekend Family Fun Guide North of Toronto for December 6-8

Even with a little rain and warmer temps, snow fun and winter recreation carry on in areas north of Toronto.

A couple more ski and board operators will be opening this weekend, which rounds up the following places as options for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, down-hill skiing and snowboarding.

*We definitely recommed last minute calls to check and be sure they are operating - there is alot of rain forecast in the next few days, turning into snow by Friday. *

If your family has not been to a Santa Claus Parade, time is quickly running out. Santa must get back to prepare for his journey and these are the last weekends for most SC parades.

Weekend Family Fun Guide North of Toronto for November 29 - December 1

Without a doubt, the snow seems here to stay. I don't think that will lead to any disappointed children. If you're in the city, head on up! Weekend Family Fun Guide North of Toronto for November 15-17

The Christmas Holiday season is pretty much here! While some businesses will wait to turn on the holiday music in stores until December 1st, there is no escaping the holiday spirit, even if your name is Grinch. If you have kids, this not a bad thing. Parents gain bargaining power when it comes to behaviour and have a long list of events and activities to choose from when it comes weekend family entertainment. Most areas north of Toronto have been getting a varying amounts of snow this week. It's not quite time to break out the skates and skis yet, but it is time to plan for that! Many ski operators have turned on the snow guns and are working around the clock to put enough white stuff on the hills and trails to get people moving and winter grooving!
